What Is It?

The Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC) is a qualification for professional bus and lorry drivers. Anyone that wants to drive professionally for hire and reward must hold a Driver Qualification Card to prove that they have undertaken this training.

There are two options to choose from with Driver CPC Training.

Driver CPC Initial Qualification.

If you passed your car test after January 1997 and your lorry test after September 2009 (or your bus test after September 2008) then you will require the Initial Driver CPC Qualification.

There are two parts to the Initial Qualification;

Theory Test (Module 2).

The test is made up of 7 case studies, lasts for 90 minutes and the pass mark is 40 out of 50.

The price below includes access to Driving Test Success Anytime to practice for this test.

Practical Test (Module 4).

You also have to complete a practical “Show me, Tell me” test. This course will be a full day with training in the morning and test in the afternoon. You will be tested on;

• Loading the vehicle
• The security of the vehicle and its contents
• Preventing criminality and trafficking in illegal immigrants
• Assessing emergency situations
• The ability to prevent physical risk

Price £275 Including VAT and test fees.

Driver CPC Periodic Training.

If you need the periodic training you must complete 35 hours or 5 days worth of approved training every 5 years to complete your Driver CPC training and obtain your Driver Qualification Card.

These days can be booked with us individually or in blocks of 2 days, 3 days, 4 days or a whole week.

Group bookings for up to 25 people can be delivered at your venue as required, including weekends and overnight to suit your company's shift patterns.

I day (7 hours) course - £63.54+VAT plus £8.75 upload fee

5 Days (35 hours) - £296.88+VAT plus £43.75 upload fee

Group booking - Weekdays £500+VAT plus £8.75 upload fee per person

Group booking - Saturdays £600+VAT plus £8.75 upload fee per person
